How do rising bollards work?

Automatic bollards can work just as any other access control gate, such as boom barriers and sliding gates. They can be integrated with access control systems and can be managed using remote control systems or remote switches from the security post of a facility. The bollard operator activated using proximity cards, audio intercom, radio transmitters, GSM/mobile phone, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) or a simple button controller.

Hydraulic Operator

Hydraulic systems use an in-compressible liquid that is pushed by a pump within the bollard’s cylinder to raise them. The motors feature the highest amount of force in operation making it capable of moving heavy steel bollards. The force of a hydraulic system is at least 25 times greater than a pneumatic system.
