What is M50 by TiSO?
For the purpose of securing the bounds of the protected area, TiSO High security fixed bollards were created. A truck weighing 7 200 lb (7,2 t) and travelling at 80 kph (50 mph) can be stopped using the following model. This was verified by tests that passed with flying colours, ASTM F2656/2656M-20 and IWA 14-1:2013. One of the biggest benefits of the model is that there are no H-beams or pre-welded structures, which reduces the volume and weight of the shipment. Bollards are only put in place 400 millimetres deep. The perfect combination that our customers are looking for is minimal installation depth and high anti-ram protection. Due to the installation depth of 400 mm, this type can be deployed in urban locations without compromising subsurface urban communications.
