The FOH04 comes with ViRDI’s patented fake and live finger detection algorithm and can distinguish fake fingerprints made with different materials including clay, rubber, silicone, glue, paper, or film. The reader can be easily connected to controls or desktop systems using just a USB connection.
The scanners create ISO 19794-4 WSQ, RAW, BMP images for storing and authentication. FOH04 works with windows and the unit comes with a demo programme and SDK.
