What is TE 640 3D by SIMONSWERK TECTUS?
TE 640 3D is a hinge by SIMONSWERK TECTUS for flush high performance commercial doors which remains completely concealed upon installation. The hinge can be installed on wooden, steel and aluminum phase, thus has a high versatility.
The hinge is made with superior technology and is UL-listed for 20 minute rated fire doors. Meeting the contemporary advanced requirements, the hinge comes with user-friendly 3-way adjustment which makes it comfortable for operations. TE 640 3D is a robust hinge that has a load capacity of up to 200 Kgs (264lbs).
Bidding adieu to the hindrances of old hinges, the door can be opened at a full swing up to 180 degrees. The overall length of this concealed hinge by SIMONSWERK TECTUS is 240 mm which is just optimum for frequently used flush commercial doors. It is applicable on both left and right door leaves and both work together as a coordinated system. The hinge also has maintenance-free slide bearings.
Available Options
- For a door panel thickness of no less than 40 mm (1-5/8″).
- For fire-rated doors, confirm with the door manufacturer the use of any additional intumescent material that may be necessary.
- On request, square-cornered cover plates are provided.
- When a door closure is added in addition to the load capacity, the load capacity must be reduced by 20%.
