The AC-5000 PLUS, like other ViRDI biometric terminals, comes with the company’s patented fingerprint scanning algorithms and multi-frequency card reading capability. The terminal also offers ViRDI’s patented live finger detection technology that distinguishes fake fingerprints made from various materials including gelatin, rubber, silicone, paper and more. The card reader functionality of AC-5000 offers reading of either 125KHz or 13.56MHz credentials and supports Smart Card, Felica, Mifare, DESFire and HID Prox/iClass cards.
