The RIB BOSS features an LED indicator (first in the world) light while in operation and complies with EN12453 and EN12445 impact norms. It allows you to make an installation complying with EN13241-1 norms, without using a safety strip, provided the garage door is balanced. The control board of the BOSS operator allows configuration of easy push commands in a step by step process. The tubular shaft in BOSS operator features a tubular shaft passing through the operator that enables faster, economical and welding free installation.

The BOSS operators from RIB come in four different version – BOSS 230V MASTER (with pc board) (needs fixing plate), BOSS 230V SLAVE (without pc board) (needs fixing plate), BOSS 24V MASTER (with pc board) (needs fixing plate), and BOSS 24V SLAVE (without pc board) (needs fixing plate).

With optional battery backup, the BOSS operator can offer 50 consecutive cycles with one operator in case of a blackout.
