Paxton Switch2 Access Controller – 405-321-EX

The controller can be used with PROXIMITY, CARDLOCK or TOUCHLOCK readers. The standalone controller can be installed at many doors over a site and allows usage of the same tokens at different doors. Two readers can be connected to a Switch2 controller unit for read-out and read-in option or one reader with an exit button for access control. The system is very simple to install and comes with labels for reader, lock, power supply connections. Switch2 has a voltage-free relay output.

PROXIMITY and CARDLOCK tokens valid and ready for use with Switch2 once installation is complete. Every user token is supplied with a corresponding shadow card, making it easy to replace in case the original card is lost or to ban a person without requiring the original card. Using the shadow card automatically invalidates the user token. Additional features like zoning which allows to limit access by token colour. It can be used with a PROXIMITY KP keypad as well or can be configured for use in card or PIN credential or Card+PIN for getting access.
