The AC-2000 offers either a 125KHz or 13.56MHz card reader and is Bluetooth enabled to support MobileCard authentication. With an IP65 Dust & Waterproof protection standard ingress protected, AC-2000 offers operability in harsh climates. The AC-2000 is a versatile and scalable biometric terminal allowing the addition of new users into the system and can be used in a networked access control system, as well as provides integration with third-party access control systems. The compact reader comes with a built-in fake finger and live finger detection and can be used in 1:1 or 1:N matching mode. The system uses a Weigand I/O or RS485 (OSDP) module for communicating with the controller unit.
The AC-2000 features ViRDI’s patented fake finger and live finger detection algorithms and can distinguish fake prints made from various materials including silicone, rubber, film, paper, and gelatine. The unit provides a 64 MB inbuilt memory with provision to expand another 32MB.
