The uPASS Access is used with a non battery UHF combi cards making it cost efficient solutions and integratable with an existing or third party access control system. Some of the conventional card types supported by the uPASS Access include HID Prox, HID iClass, EM, MIFARE and LEGIC etc. With efficient identification when the users are in the read-range, the uPASS Access is an ideal solution for both indoor applications at hospitals, office buildings, gated communities, care homes and universities.
Just like other uPASS readers, uPASS Access also supports several industry-standard communication interfaces, including Wiegand, clock & data and RS485. This enables it to be integrated with existing access control or parking management systems. The unit comes with built-in red, green and blue LED’s indicators for feedback and a beeper. The reader can be easily installed to a door post mounting or directly onto the wall and requires no additional mounting accessories.
