ViRDI’s MCP 040 controller is integrated with the intruder alarm system and built-in power supply and battery back up to provide uninterrupted access control management at four doors. The MCP 040 controller is compatible with all ViRDI biometric terminals and Wiegand card readers.

The MCP 040 is housed in a double-hinged metal box to offer easy cabling and installation. The controller has an eight zone alarm system with supervised bell output and has four inputs and eight output programme options. The controller is connected to an UNIS or web server through TCP/IP communication and comes with an RS485 Port for up to 8 FMD10 Biometric Readers.

The controller is empowered with a 32bits RISC processor, 8MB flash memory, and comes with LED status indicators. The controller can manage access for up to 50,000 users and store up to 51,200.
