HID EDGE EVO EHR40-K Controller/Reader

Enabling cost effective installation and high performance access control functionality, the EDGE EVO® EHR40-K Controller/Reader and Interface Module package is a single-door access control panel with reader and separate discrete door interface. The controller/reader is installed at the door and the Hi-O Interface Module is mounted separately in a secure location.

  • Integrated controller/reader provides 13.56 MHz iCLASS smart card compatibility
  • Reduces wiring costs by powering the controller/reader and door components
  • Stores database for one door with one or two readers and 125,000 cardholders

He HID EDGE EVO controller/reader and module are connected with secure Hi-O bus and Hi-O modules to offer an interface to four discrete inputs and two outputs. With an additional iCLASS reader that can be attached to the EHR40-K controller/readers, it accepts Hi-O iCLASS reader and supports Wegand and clock-and-data reader through the use of a Wiegand/Clock-and-Data reader and supports cards with 13.56mHz compliant , including iCLASS credentials.
