PAS 68 Static Terra Venus Bollard, currently the most advanced counter-terrorism measure, is specially designed to stop vehicles driving straight into a building at a speed of up to 80 km/h. It was thoroughly impact tested with a 7.5-ton vehicle coming at 30 mph.
As per the PAS 68 stipulations, these bollards are required to be installed with a spacing of 1200mm b/w the upright parallel bollards. This kind of proximity guarantees enough protection as these bollards meet the safety requirement standards.
