FAAC JS 48 HA | FAAC Bollards

FAAC’s JS 48 HA retractable bollard is operated automatically using a hydraulic power unit. The bollard can stop a 7500 kg truck being driven at a speed of 50km/h. The cylinder is made of high strength steel with two versions of protective layer used interchangeably- mDure with exclusive FAAC design, mDure AiSi 316 satin-finish stainless steel.

All the JS bollards are designed with a height of 1 m and 275 mm diameter. This uniformity in size and appearance makes them fit for all architectural contexts. The use of hydraulic power units not only reduces cost but also makes the installation simple as the need for hydraulic underground lines no longer exists.

Installation of these bollards is easier and can be reconditioned with significantly reduced disassembly and reassembly costs. The mechanical resistance of the product is extremely impressive. They are resistant to shocks and scratches, corrosive agents, UV radiation and chemicals. The bollards do not have to be removed from the ground for maintenance operations since the main components of the bollards can be accessed from above for inspection and replacement. The product has passed the crash test and complied with the safety standards of PAS 6B, IWA 14-1, ASTM F2656.
