Imagine you are busy working and you need to control a fan in your bedroom and a lamp simultaneously. What would you do? In normal cases, you would pause working and manually switch off the fan and lamp in the bedroom.
But what if you can control both these installations without distracting your work. It is possible with the Fibaro Double Smart Module. With this micro module, you can turn two existing installations on and off simply with the help of a voice assistant or a smartphone which are integrated into the Z-wave network.
The size of the device is very small so that it can be installed in the housing of other devices. The micromodule can be controlled either by a button on it or with the traditional switch to which it is wired.
When the switch is turned on, it sends a control signal to the smart module which then activates the load through the Z-wave network. The device is designed to work indoor and in dry conditions.
The device works with different types of switches and buttons like momentary and toggle switches. The device will work as a Z-wave signal repeater to ensure optimal coverage of the network. The module can work with all devices compatible with Z-wave plus certificate.
Unlike the smart module from Fibaro, the double smart module has two free potential relays with a common entry point. This makes the device capable of working with a normal AC voltage of 230 V or any continuous charge with voltages 5V, 12 V, or 24 V DC.
