The GEM EM300M is designed for surface mounting on out-swing doors with optional LZ- and U-shaped brackets. The EM300M electromagnetic lock features Anti-Residual Magnetism (ARM) that ensures door opening without any resistance from leftover magnetism imparted to the armature plate. It features a holding force of 300lbs. The lock can also be supplied with a bond sensor output to indicate the locked and unlocked status of the door with visible LED indicator.
The electromagnetic locks offer effective access control at doors and flexible installation to a variety of door designs including according to door swing direction and frame type e.g. narrow frame door , frameless glass door , inswing door, etc. The lock allows integration to most of the conventional access control systems available in the industry.
