The Horizontal Laser Scanner can be used wherever barriers with high impact forces are intended to provide rapid processing but not bar pedestrian passage. Magnetic laser scanners reliably detect both vehicles and persons to ensure maximum personal protection. The laser is an ideal alternative in cases where induction loops cannot be installed. The scanners can inspect a maximum area of 30x30ft. Depending on the selected settings, the barrier does not open when a person is detected and only opens when a vehicle has been detected. The scanner enables precision, and the barrier is only closed when nobody is present within the safety field. The laser scanner generates four overlying beams, effectively suppressing any interference.

The horizontal laser scanner offers various configuration options such as – MLHH01 9 (mounted in barrier housing), MLHH02 (mounted in barrier housing without additional power supply), MLHS01 (Horizontal laser scanner in stand-alone house), MLHS02 (stand-alone housing without additional power supply), MLPREF01 (Reference posts for laser scanner), and MLFB01 (installed with remote programming controller).
