The powerful Intel Xenon E3 CPU enables Husky X8 to support more than 300 cameras with server-side motion detection. The hardware-accelerated video processing of Intel Iris Pro GPU in X8 offers unparalleled camera capacity and up to 1,8 Gbit/s recording throughput per unit.

It provides easy replicable HDD with RAID storage redundancy, supporting RAID 5 and 10. Milestone Husky X8 supports eight surveillance-class HDD with up to 112TB of raw storage and is capable of running in the cold or hot standby configuration.
