FAAC’s JS 80 HA retractable bollard is automated using a hydraulic power unit. The bollard can stop a 7500 kg truck being driven at a speed of 80 km/h. The cylinder is made of high strength steel with two versions of mDure, one is an exclusive FAAC design while the other is mDure AiSi 316 satin-finish stainless steel.

The mechanical resistance of the product is extremely impressive. They are resistant to shocks and scratches, corrosive agents, UV radiation and chemicals. The JS bollards from FAAC can be recycled and therefore do not pollute the environment. The product comes with a height of 1 m and 275 mm diameter. The use of hydraulic power units reduces cost while making the installation simple because the hydraulic underground lines are not required.

Rilsan, the anti-corrosive polyamide resin used in the making of the product safeguards the bollards from corrosion, chemicals and extreme weather conditions. The bollards do not have to be removed from the ground for maintenance operations since the main components of the bollards can be accessed from above for inspection and replacement. The product has passed the crash test and complied with the safety standards of PAS 6B, IWA 14-1, ASTM F2656.
